This site is owned and operated by Stokes the Greengrocers. Ownership of rights

All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to Stokes the Greengrocers. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of Stokes the Greengrocers. You may not modify, distribute or re-post something on this website for any purpose.

Accuracy of content

Stokes the Greengrocers has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at time of publishing and all products have been fairly described. However, orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT. Packaging may vary from that shown. The weights, dimensions and capacities given are approximate only. Stokes the Greengrocers shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website.

Damage to your computer

Stokes the Greengrocers makes every effort to ensure that this website is free from viruses or defects. However, we cannot guarantee that your use of this website or any websites accessible through it won't cause damage to your computer. It is your responsibility to ensure that the right equipment is available to use the website and screen out anything that may damage it. Stokes the Greengrocers shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise to computer equipment as a result of using this website.

Password/account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account and any activities that occur under your account. Stokes the Greengrocers shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise as a result of any failure by you to protect your password or account.

Availability

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available by emailing you.

Ordering errors

If you have made any errors in placing your order please email us or call and speak to one of our advisors on 07967 819302 and we will try and rectify the error you.

Delivery area and charges

Delivery is currently only available within a 10 mile radius of our Head Office in Bristol. Delivery within this area is free.
We do operate similar hamper schemes through our stores in Moorland Road, Bath and Wadebridge, Cornwall. However it is not possible at this time to place orders through this site for these areas. Acknowledgment and acceptance of your order

If you have supplied us with your email address, we will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order.

Delays

Whilst we will, of course, make every effort to ensure that your delivery is received on time occasionally due to circumstances beyond our control your delivery may be delayed. If we consider the delay to be excessive we will make every effort to keep you informed.

Cancellation rights

We are happy to accept cancellation of any hamper order up to 3pm the day before your order is due for delivery. However cancellation of flower orders must be received 48 hours before despatch.
We will not accept cancellations of any order placed during busy times such as Valentines Day, Mother’s Day and Christmas.

Substitution

For flower and food orders, in the event of supply difficulties, we reserve the right to substitute goods or packaging of equal quality and value.

Hospital deliveries

Please note that some hospitals will not accept flower deliveries please check with the hospital before ordering.

Message cards with flower orders of fruit basket orders

If you wish a card to be attached to any flower to fruit basket order please write a short message in the additional information box at the time of ordering. You agree that any messages posted by you on any gift card sent by us on your behalf to a third party will not contain anything which could be construed as harassment, threatening, vulgar, abusive, obscene, defamatory, racist or which may cause embarrassment or distress to any person or are otherwise unlawful or objectionable. You also agree that you will not impersonate any person, including but not limited to any of our employees or customers. You are entirely responsible for any text and Stokes the Greengrocers accepts no liability for any such content.

Changes to legal notices

We reserve the right to change these terms & conditions from time to time and you should look through them as often as possible.

Amendments to your order

If you find that you need to change your order then please contact us on 07967 819302 as soon as possible and one of our advisors will be happy to help you. If you amend your order, you may find there are changes to your delivery timescale and/or the price you pay for the item (as you’ll be charged the current selling price on the day you amend the order). 

Payment

Payment for all orders placed through our website will be taken when your order is processed.

Delivery Arrangements

If access to your delivery address is restricted or confusing in any way please let us know in the additional information section when you place your order.

Order timescales for flowers and hampers

Order for hampers must be place by 3pm on the day before delivery is required.
Orders for flowers and plants must be placed by midday on Monday for Thursday or Friday delivery and midday Thursday for Tuesday or Wednesday delivery.

Personal Information

If you request the site to remember your information the site will collect your name, address and order details. It does not retain any credit card information.
Your name and address is used for delivery and billing purposes. We may, from time to time, send you information about our products as part of our customer service. If you do not wish to receive this information please let us know.
We do not share any personal information with any third parties nor do we use any personal information for any purposes beyond those stated here.

Confidentiality / Security

We have implemented security policies, rules and technical measures to protect the personal data that we have under our control from unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorised modification.
All our employees and data processors, who have access to, and are associated with the processing of personal data, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of our visitors' personal data.
We ensure that your personal data will not be disclosed to third party organizations and government authorities except if required by law or other regulation.
